Open Farm Community is a dining concept that celebrates one main thing – local farming.
Boasting 35,000 square feet of greenery, their guests will not only learn to appreciate food from its origins but also get to be closer to nature.
Diners will get to experience urban farming first-hand and enjoy innovative dishes made using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
There are also workshops and tours that the whole family can join to learn more about growing food.
The humans were happy to learn that dogs are also welcomed to enjoy nature at their outdoor seating and at their regular Open Farmers’ Market!
When they visited a while back, mama had the 48-hour Barolo braised oxtail strozzapreti topped with parmesan wafers and garden thyme ($26). The oxtail was delicious and tender and the wafers gave a nice light crunch to the dish.
Papa had the baked barramundi with cucumber coleslaw, roasted eggplant, and fresh mint dressing ($26). It was fresh and very healthy! But it seems that they no longer serve this dish.
Instead, there’s now a coconut laksa barramundi ($29) on the menu that looks equally fantastic.
For dessert, they had the Lemon Tart with Basil Ice Cream ($17) that was well-balanced and refreshing. A great way to end the meal!
Open Farmers’ Market
Look out for their social outdoor market where you can bring your dog along to soak up the atmosphere and purchase directly from local vendors.
